Magda is a member of the Bucharest Bar from 2000 and an arbitrator of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.
Magda has built a solid reputation and strong trial capability in dealing with disputes covering numerous areas of practice, such as civil and commercial contracts, fiscal, bankruptcy and insolvency, debt and asset recovery, employment and professional negligence, IP & IT, banking, environmental, product liability, aviation & aerospace, transportation and shipping, insurance, criminal law.
Her clients include national and foreign corporations, banks and financial institutions as well as private individuals.
Her practice focuses on advising clients in pre-litigious phases and recommending procedural and dispute avoidance work, advising distressed companies and/or creditors of such companies in corporate restructuring, reorganization and insolvency matters (both in and out of court), including confirmation of reorganization plans, appointment of insolvency practitioners or liquidators, purchases and sales of the assets of distressed companies, preferential transfers and fraudulent practices during insolvency procedures, drafting court actions, counter-claims and all types of procedural documents, representing clients in courts of law and arbitration panels on all levels of jurisdiction.
Magda has concentrated on civil and criminal disputes, fiscal and administrative matters, disputes with public entities and regulatory authorities, execution of judgments, injunctions, other interim measures and ancillary relief, recovery of damages, disputes related to ownership rights, disputes on unfair competition issues, employment related disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy, arbitration, large portfolio of debt recovery disputes and proceedings.
