Mitel & Asociatii was present and supervised the cross-border transaction between La Poste Group and Speedy Group – the leading Bulgarian parcel delivery provider.
La Poste group sold in a cross-border transaction its majority stake in DPD Romania and GeoPost Bulgaria to Speedy Group. The target in Romania was DPD Romania, one of the main players on the Romanian courier market. The transaction was completed under a complex structure which saw La Poste Group acquiring a minority stake in the holding company of Speedy Group.
La Poste Group is a traditional client of Mitel & Asociatii and all aspects of the transaction, including the clearance from the Competition Council were assisted by a team of Mitel & Asociatii coordinated by Madalina Paisa (Partner) and Serban Suchea (Managing Associate).
